HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, received the first copy of a book entitled "Mohammed bin Rashid in Race against Time" by Abdelghafar Hussain. In the introduction of the book which includes about 70 sections highlighting the achievements of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid as a leader, an architect, a mentor and a builder, Mr. Hussain wrote:
"I do not claim that this book contains all the achievements made by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum throughout his period in office in Dubai which extends for nearly two decades since he became a crown prince until today. If I had said so, I would not have been honest."

"In my articles compiled in this book, I was trying to keep up with the development journey made by Mohammed bin Rashid which involved all what really matters for the modern man," said Mr. Hussain.

Introducing his +200 pages book Mr. Hussain stressed that the glorious journey of this leader is the highest value added as he could come out with new innovations in short period of times and that has been impressive for all people who wished to follow his realistic approach and vision.

Welcoming Mr. Hussain to his office, HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid praised the author for his extinguished works in literature and press indicating that these works are vital to enrich the literary progress in the United Arab Emirates as they have a positive role in improving, establishing and diversifying culture. He wished the author more success and luck in his intellectual and literary journey underlining the important role of writers, poets and intellectuals in our society as an essential segment that helps spread awareness and culture which is a beautiful part of our national identity.

The meeting was attended by Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and the Future, Khalifa Saeed Sulaiman, Director General of Dubai's Protocol Department, and the author's sons and grandsons.
